Follow Me

My life, like anyone’s has been full of adversity. I realized it’s not what happens that’s the problem but how we respond to the situation. Since the age of 14 I enrolled myself into learning from every possible life coach. Whether they were seminars, programs, classes, books or ways of living; I have absorbed them all. They have made my life easier and more peaceful so I wanted to share them with you.

I have always been a big supporter of charity work. Raising money for battered women and children when I was only 22. I am a firm believer that we should give what we can. Whether it is money or time we must take a stand for those less fortunate. Some of the charities I have worked with or admire are listed below.

Children’s Wish Foundation
Make- a-wish
Trevor Project
Lupus International
AIDS Foundation
Humane Society
Molly’s Mutts and Meows
Save the dolphins
Ecology Fund
Breast Cancer Cure
Mental Disorders

After I lost my Mom to brain cancer, I suffered for a long time with depression. If you have experienced it, you know how debilitating it can be. I struggled for a while trying to feel better. I finally figured out that you not only have to feel better, but you have to move on. I sought out professional help and that confirmed I had to do things to make myself feel better. Some of things I decided to do really make a difference so I wanted to share them with you.

Exercise – any kind of physical activity. It releases endorphins that actually make you ‘feel’ good.

Being in the sun – anywhere. The sun gives vitamin D, which again makes you feel good. I believe the sun is very healing, as long as you are careful.

Keeping busy – when the mind wanders, it usually goes to negative thoughts. I really noticed this one.

Seeing people you love – Their energy and love makes you feel better.

Reading about whatever it is causing you stress – so you can better understand it and be at peace.

Eating healthy – again feeling better

Drinking a lot of water – physically and spiritually good for you.

Taking a hot shower/Epsom Salt Bath – I find this very cleansing...energetically.

Talk to someone who can help – this always puts a new perspective on things and simplifies our problems.

Prayer – whomever you pray to is perfect. It’s just nice to let go of problems that are too big for us to handle.

Meditation – I find this very grounding and calming. Quiet the mind. It can be our best friend or our biggest enemy. Make sure you have ‘it’ under control.
